The Saturday Cabaret Evenings include a fine, catered dinner for your guests before your performance. Typically, dinner will begin at 6:30 and the performance will start at 8:00 pm. Seating will be at round tables, with great sight lines to the stage. Ticket sales are handled in advance and at the door. Cabaret events must be booked at least 4 weeks in advance to allow for adequate advertising and promotion.
Ticket revenues will be split with the house, the performer and the house will agree to the following expectations upon booking the show:
- Tickets will be priced at $30 for dinner and the show, and $15 for the show only.
- Saturday evening Cabaret events require a minimum of twenty (20) advanced dinner reservations ($600).
- The minimum reservation must be met by 4 pm on the Monday prior to the scheduled event, OR at that time, the performer will be given the option to offset the dinner reservation minimum out of the performer’s share of the performance-only tickets (or out of pocket) to make the show happen. Otherwise the performance will be canceled.
- The first twenty (20) dinner reservations, or $600, are intended to cover all necessary expenses of the event, and will be split this way:
- $200 ($10/ticket) – Caterer
- $300 ($15/ticket) – House expenses including the advertising ($125), Sound man ($50), and pro-rated venue rental for rehearsal and performance time ($125)
- $100 ($5/ticket) – Performer for accompaniment or other expenses.
- The additional dinner reservations after the first twenty (20) will be split this way:
- $10 – Caterer
- $10 – House
- $10 – Performer
- Ticket revenue from performance-only ticket sales will be split:
- $5 – House
- $10 – Performer
REMINDER: Arrangements can be made to facilitate corporate sponsorship of your event. For example, your employer, or any other business with which you are affiliated can purchase display advertising in all event promotional materials, and at the event itself.
