SOZO seeks performers for our 2009 – 2010 performance series. We seek professional and semi-professional vocalists and/or groups who want a showcase in a classy, downtown setting. We also have options for starting bands and groups. SOZO is a non-smoking storefront black-box theatre venue that seats 150 in theatre style seating or 70 with tables. We offer a full lighting and sound package, espresso / snack bar, sound man, and technical assistance with rehearsals. Our performance series is a part of the wealth of the arts in State College, providing a listening room and creative atmosphere for local and regional performers. We offer several options for performers and groups: Our basic room rental rate is $50.00 / hour with a minimum of $75.00 required. CANCELLATION POLICY: An event can be cancelled for no fee up to 5 weeks prior to the scheduled date, after which the $75.00 will be retained to cover any accrued expenses. |
